PLAYBACK THEATRE

WHAT IS PLAYBACK THEATRE?
Playback Theatre is an improvisational story-telling theatre in which audience members tell real-life stories and then watch them acted out on the spot.
“Stories” can be major events or the simple details of life. The impact of Playback is to show the extraordinary within the ordinary and the epic within the everyday.

WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF PLAYBACK THEATRE?
By re-creating people’s stories, Playback creates connections for everyone, which can lead to new insights and solutions. Performances can be therapeutic, exciting, moving or simply fun!
