North Trafford College – we have performed over many years for students on Counselling Certificate and Diploma courses. The performances give students an experience of being heard which mirrors the relationship between counsellor and client.

Carr-Gomm Supported Housing Project – we did a series of performances for tenants and staff  focusing on user feedback. Themes included communal living;  personal life stories; what is ‘home’ etc.

Sheffield University Psychology Department – a leaving-do for a member of staff. Celebrations are an important part of Playback’s work – birthdays, marriages, anniversaries, retirements etc.

Cruse Bereavement Care –   we performed at the final plenary, enabling delegates to share their experiences on such issues as asylum seekers, and the transgender and transsexual community.

Oldham Social Services – at a conference for users of the Learning Disability Service looking at hopes and dreams, we staged some of the aspirations of delegates.

Cheadle Hulme High School – we perform annually for GCSE drama students.

Salford Youth Offending Team – a performance for team members on the theme of ‘Engaging Victims’.

Therapeutic Social Work Team, Leeds – a performance and training workshop for staff of this team which wants to add playback theatre to the skilled interventions its trained staff are able to make with clients.
