RECENT EVENTS
We have performed for the following organisations:

Sheffield University
Psychology
Department – a leaving-do for a member of staff. Celebrations are
an important part of Playback’s
work – birthdays, marriages, anniversaries, retirements etc.

Cruse Bereavement Care
– we performed at the final plenary, enabling delegates to
share their
experiences on such issues as asylum seekers, and the
transgender and transsexual community.

Oldham Social Services
– at a
conference for users of the Learning Disability Service looking at
hopes and dreams, we staged some of the aspirations of
delegates.

Cheadle Hulme High School
–
we
perform annually for GCSE drama students.
-
Salford Youth Offending Team
–
a performance for team members on the theme of ‘Engaging Victims’.
-
Therapeutic Social Work
Team, Leeds
– a performance and training workshop for staff of this team which
wants to add playback theatre to the skilled interventions its
trained staff are able to make with clients.

PUBLIC EVENTS

Chorlton Arts Festival
Playback Theatre Manchester is back by popular demand and will be
performing at CAF on Monday 19th May 2008. Venue and times will
be available nearer the date.

The Lowry
After two
successful weekends of workshops and performances at the beginning of
2008, we have been invited to run two more weekends in the Autumn, one
